After a trip to the Columbus Zoo, it occurred to me that I could work with elephants (my favorite animal!) if I worked hard to pursue that, so that’s where I put my focus. Initially, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but after a year or so in school, I decided that I wanted to work with animals overall rather than specialize in the Animal Health side. However, I’ve come to the Zoo for as long as I can remember.Ī: I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University.
